Before you do anything else, make sure you purchase a ticket for the red tour bus called Palma. This will allow you to get on and off at various locations throughout the area. It's a great way to be able to explore as many different places as you can during your brief time here.

Enjoy The History

There are so many historical things to see in Palma de Mallorca. Both Bellver Castle and the Cathedral are a must see. The area around Placa de Espanya is also particularly interesting with its tall buildings and colonial style. Don't forget to check out El Baluard as it overlooks the old walls of city as well as the harbor.

Consider A Trip To Plaza Espana

Located nearby is Plaza Espana. You can reach it by a train or an express bus. It's worth a visit if you will be spending a lot of time in Palma de Mallorca. It's fairly magical looking and isn't difficult to find because it's so large. You can easily walk around it or enjoy a horse drawn carriage ride so that you can sit back and relax and take in the views.

There are numerous restaurants to enjoy in Palma de Mallorca. The Room serves fresh food and three course meals. Quina Creu is the place to go for those that want a more sophisticated atmosphere. What's interesting about it is that you will first need to choose something to eat from one of the fish stalls at Palma's Market and then it will be cooked on the griddle for you. They do have a menu if you don't want to have to shop for your meal beforehand.
