DAY 3, Friday - Bilbao, Vitoria
Embark on a morning city tour of Bilbao to discover its rich history and architectural beauty. Begin at the heart of the Casco Viejo, the city's charming Old Quarter. View Plaza Nueva, a grand Neoclassical square surrounded by arcaded structures, and the 14th century Gothic Cathedral de Santiago with its impressive Renaissance entryway. Stroll through the narrow cobblestone streets of the Seven Streets area, dating back to the early 1400s, lined with traditional pinxto bars, and historic buildings. Explore the bustling Ribera Market, one of the largest indoor markets in Europe, offering fresh produce, seafood, and local delicacies. Later, drive to Vitoria and check into your hotel. Tonight, attend an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 6 PM followed by dinner

DAY 4, Saturday - Camino Trail from Nájera to Azofra, Santo Domingo de la Calzada, Burgos
Depart Vitoria and travel to Nájera, a historic town located on the banks of the Najerilla River. From here, begin the first stage of your walk along the Camino de Santiago Francés, which will take you to Azofra, set on the hills of La Rioja. Then, drive to Santo Domingo de la Calzada, a medieval village named after its founder who built roads, bridges, and a hospital to aid pilgrims making their way to the shrine of the apostle James. After lunch, continue to Burgos, which was the capital city of the unified kingdom of Castile and Leon for five centuries. Construction on its magnificent Cathedral, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, began in the 13th century and was completed in 1567 thereby blending Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architectural elements. See the tomb of El Cid Campeador, a major figure in Spanish history and literature. Check into the hotel and have dinner

DAY 5, Sunday - Castrojeriz to Ermita de San Nicolas de Puente Fitero Hike, Fromista, Astorga
This morning, drive to the village of Castrojeriz from where you'll begin your walk. After about twenty-five minutes, cross a small bridge over the Odra River and begin an ascent to the Mirador del Alto de Mostelares. Upon reaching the top, pilgrims are rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The trail descends into the Meseta (Castilian Plateau), a high plateau with wide-open spaces, gently rolling farmland, and expansive skies. Arrive in Ermita de San Nicolas de Puente Fitero. Then, drive to Fromista, famous for the Church of San Martin de Fromista, an outstanding example of Spanish Romanesque architecture. After lunch, continue to Astorga, a city founded by the Romans in 14 BC, which became an important military and administrative center. Check into your hotel and enjoy time at leisure. Perhaps, explore the neo-Gothic Episcopal Palace designed by Antoni Gaudi, and the Astorga Cathedral, a combination of Gothic, Baroque, and Renaissance styles. Begin your hike through rolling hills and traditional hamlets as you descend toward the village of El Acedo de San Miguel, offering scenic views of the Leon Mountains and a glimpse into typical mountain life. Next, head to the village of Cacabelos, nestled in the heart of the Bierzo wine region. Savor regional specialties for lunch and sample homemade local wines at a restaurant with its own vineyard. In the afternoon, drive to the city of Lugo, often called the oldest town in Galicia. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. After the hike, travel to the town of Arzúa, where you'll have lunch at a typical Galician rural house. Later, drive to Santiago de Compostela and walk the final leg of the French Way. The trail takes you through the Spanish countryside and along the River Sar. Enter the Old Town and arrive at Plaza del Obradoiro. Here, gaze at the majestic Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, an iconic symbol of the city and the end point of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route. Take a tour and learn about the city's history, which dates back over a thousand years. See the crypt, where the relics of the Apostle Saint James are believed to rest. Afterward, drive to Finisterre and savor lunch at a seaside restaurant. Then, begin this final walking stage from Mar de Fora to Faro de Finisterre, a place that was considered to be the end of the world (Finis Terrae) by the Romans and other ancient cultures. For many pilgrims, this stage is the epilogue of their experience, ending their journey with a spectacular view of the ocean which stretches to the horizon, showing the end of the Camino. View the Sao Bento Train Station, famous for its azulejos tiles, Porto Cathedral, the historic Stock Exchange, renowned for its exquisite neoclassical façade, and the medieval S. Francisco Church. Conclude the tour at the beautiful Ribeira Quarter. Check in at the hotel and spend free time enjoying the center of the city, which offers a rich mix of history, art, culture, and urban life. Tonight, bid goodbye to your Tour Manager at dinner
