DAY 4, Friday - Explore Barcelona
Today's journey takes you to the artistic city of Barcelona. Upon arrival, begin with a drive along the Old Harbor to Plaza Catalunya, the city's main square. Pass works of Gaudi, the master architect, including the Casa Batllo, seemingly constructed from skulls and bones. Then, proceed to view the iconic symbol of Barcelona, Gaudi's masterpiece, La Sagrada Familia, a colossal church that is legendary and still unfinished*. Conclude the tour with a visit to Park Guell, Barcelona's most famous park, a playful creation by Gaudi. Learn intriguing facts about its creator and admire the park's colorful design and intricate tile work. Spend free time wandering this inspired city on your own. Later, head back to Girona

Located just across the border, this UNESCO World heritage Site is renowned for its impeccably preserved walled city. On arrival, explore enchanting Carcassonne, perched on a rocky hilltop surrounded by ancient towers and turrets, with expansive views of the city below. A guided walk takes you along the cobbled streets to the St. Nazaire Basilica, adorned with magnificent stained glass and intricate carvings, featuring both Romanesque and Gothic architecture. DAY 10, Thursday - Tomar Walking Tour, Optional Half Day Constancia & Almourol Castle

Continue through the Old Jewish Quarter, with its narrow lanes and preserved synagogue, offering a glimpse into the town's diverse past. Conclude with a walk along the banks of the Nabao River.
