DAY 1, Sunday - Depart for Spain
Depart for Spain

DAY 2, Monday - Arrive in Madrid
Arrive in the lively metropolis of Madrid and transfer to your hotel. Most flights arrive in the early morning, and your room may not be ready for you. In this case, leave your luggage with the concierge and your Tour Manager will provide suggestions for you to begin to explore the city on your own. Your tour will begin with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 7 PM, followed by dinner. We recommend you select flights that arrive no later than 5 PM

DAY 3, Tuesday - Madrid City Tour
Today's tour of Madrid's impressive architecture begins at the Plaza de Cibeles, encompassed by striking buildings. Continue to the Royal Palace, Europe's second largest. Then, on to the renowned Prado Museum and stand before a collection of masterpieces by Velazquez, Goya, El Greco, and more. The rest of the day is yours to explore this city on your own, or join the optional afternoon tour to Toledo. Take a walking tour among the most notable monuments, visiting the St. Tome Church, home to an El Greco masterpiece, and Santa Maria la Blanca Synagogue, the oldest synagogue in Europe still standing and featuring beautiful Moorish architecture. Tonight, opt to explore Madrid's fabulous restaurants and non-stop nightlife

DAY 4, Wednesday - Cordoba City Tour, Travel to Seville
This morning, embark on a scenic drive through the arid landscapes of Don Quixote's La Mancha, featuring panoramic views of its famous windmills. Arrive in Cordoba, founded by the Romans. Visit the Mezquita de Cordoba, transformed into a soaring cathedral in the 16th century. A walking tour of the city reveals the ancient Jewish Quarter with its labyrinth of winding narrow streets, shady flower filled courtyards, picturesque squares, and view of the 14th century Synagogue on Calle de los Judios. After lunch on your own, travel to Seville, capital of Andalucia for dinner and overnight

DAY 5, Thursday - Seville City Tour
The morning tour of Seville begins at beautiful Plaza de España and the fragrant gardens of Maria Luisa Park by the Guadalquivir River before visiting the quaint Barrio Santa Cruz, the former Jewish Quarter of the city. Continue with a visit to the Cathedral of Seville, a Gothic cathedral and burial site of Christopher Columbus. Built on the site of the former great Mosque, its original minaret, the Giralda Bell Tower, still stands. The remainder of the day is at leisure in the downtown area to discover this vibrant city on your own. Tonight, enjoy an optional Flamenco Show performed by some of Seville's leading Flamenco artists

DAY 6, Friday - Drive to Granada, Alhambra
Your day of exploration begins with a drive to Granada. Today's sightseeing of Moorish Granada is highlighted by a visit to the 13th century Alhambra*, dramatically perched atop Assabica Hill and overlooking the entire city. This imposing hilltop fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the world's finest examples of Moorish art and architecture. During the reign of the Moors, the Alhambra served as the residence of the royal family. See spectacular views of the town and the Sierra Nevada Mountains
*Alhambra visiting times, which may include evening hours, and which areas of the complex are accessible on the day of your visit, are determined solely at the discretion of the Alhambra. Your itinerary will be arranged by your Tour Manager to accommodate the designated time of entry.

DAY 7, Saturday - Travel to Valencia
Today, head north through the groves of olives, almonds, lemons, and oranges to the garden city of Valencia. On arrival, check into the hotel with free time to settle in before dinner tonight

DAY 8, Sunday - Valencia City Tour
Begin the day with a city tour of Valencia. Discover this treasure trove of Roman architecture before continuing to the City Gates, City Hall and Gothic Cathedral. Arrive at the Arts and Science City, designed by contemporary artist Santiago Calatrava, exhibiting avant-garde architecture that includes buildings such as the Hemisfèric and Oceanogràfic. Spend the balance of the day at leisure

DAY 9, Monday - Drive to Barcelona, Barcelona City Tour
Depart Valencia and drive along the coast of Catalunya to sensational Barcelona. Upon arrival, drive along the Old Harbor to the Plaza Catalunya, the city's bustling main square. Pass the works of Gaudi, the master architect, including the Casa Batllo, seemingly constructed from skulls and bones. Then, continue on to view the iconic symbol of Barcelona, Gaudi's masterpiece, La Sagrada Familia, a colossal church that is legendary and still unfinished*. Ascend Montjuic Hill, home to the Olympic Complex and where a number of sports facilities were built for the 1992 Summer Olympics. The rest of the day is at leisure. Tonight, enjoy your first taste of Barcelona's rousing nightlife and cuisine
*Entrance to La Sagrada Familia is not included. Passengers can visit on their own on Day 10 and are advised to book tickets in advance.

DAY 10, Tuesday - Full Day in Barcelona
Today, spend a full day at leisure in Barcelona to further explore the city on your own and choose to visit La Sagrada Familia independently. Perhaps, join the optional guided tour to Montserrat. Visit the Royal Basilica, where you will see the famous 12th century Romanesque sculpture of Virgen Moreneta. Tonight, at dinner, bid farewell to your Tour Manager
